Board of Directors
As a not-for-profit, community based, cooperative, we are run by a Board of Directors elected by the parent body at an Annual General Meeting.
The Board plays an important role in the strategic management of the Preschool and is accountable to members (all carers of enrolled children are members of the Cooperative) for the performance of the preschool.
The Board is also accountable to the statutory and regulatory authorities for the financial and legal obligations of the Preschool.
The Board is elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The Board is bound by the Cooperatives Act 2012 and Regulation 2014. As a Cooperative the Preschool has a set of mandatory Rules, registered under the Cooperatives Act.
Board Meetings are held at least each term.
